In the Community

The purpose of this program is to show our appreciation to active-duty service members that are away from home for the holidays. In doing so it gives us the opportunity to strengthen the bond we have within our community as we work together as a team to bring these individuals a little bit of holiday cheer!

This year we had over 285 decorated boxes, and over 300 whom benefited from supplies. Destinations included: Qatar, Mt. Fuji, Arab Emirates, South Korea, Kuwait, Cuba, and on Ship Undisclosed. These little Christmas boxes were filled with protein/granola bars, beef jerky, crackers, cookies, ramen, mac and cheese, chips, gum, cards, socks, letters from students, and toiletries. Here at Pleasant Hill we sold custom-made cozies and t-shirts, had a bake sale, and also did a Chiefs raffle that brought in over $1,600 that helped make all of this possible!!

We are incredibly thankful to every customer, school group, business, and organization that helped make this happen. We couldn't have done it without the outpouring amount of support!
